On May 31, Hands of Hope hosted a care package assembly event at the Newton Library with the goal of creating 300 care packages for people affected by homelessness in Surrey. With the incredible support of our volunteers, we successfully assembled all 300 packages in under two hours!

Each package included essentials like hygiene products, snacks, and comforting items—assembled with care, purpose, and hope.

​

We were proud to donate:
🎁 150 care packages to Surrey Urban Mission
🎁 150 care packages to NightShift Street Ministries

​

 Special thanks to our amazing volunteers—from local students to community members—who came together to make a difference. We even finished early, and everyone enjoyed snacks and refreshments provided for all helpers!
